As you see, the so-called Problem of Evil doesn't exist for me. As I explained in Ishmael, what the gods know about good and evil is this: Whatever they do is good for one but evil for another, and it can't be otherwise. If the quail eats the grasshopper, then this is good for the quail but evil for the grasshopper. And if the fox eats the quail, then this is good for the fox but evil for the quail. The gods obviously can't make a rule like "No quail may eat a grasshopper" or "Quails deserve to be protected from foxes." Grasshopper, quail, and fox all live in the hands of the gods for a time, and not one of them has cause for complaint or disappointment. The same is true of us. Providence

HELP! I don't get it! People add themselves to this database. They tell about themselves, and they choose a login name and password so that they can come back later and update their information. The cities, states, countries, and dates in the drop-down boxes are loaded dynamically from a database...if your state (etc.) is not here, it is because no one is in our database from there. When you or someone from your state (etc.) add themselves here, your state (etc.) will show up automatically. This will also explain odd entries in the dropdown lists...you can correct those yourself if it's your record! How about some input on how to make this site more useful, eh?! It's built for you, so if it's not useful...let me know!
