How does your garden grow?
Corporate attorney and business development executive Paul Grahovac has purchased four vacant inner-city lots in Kansas City, Kansas, where he is growing a large amount of vegetables and encouraging local residents to pick for free. He is now working with a small group of the residents to join the nonprofit he has formed to function as a tribal mutual aid society. The vision is to grow vegetables, raise chickens for eggs, raise Tilapia in aquaponic fish tanks, operate a carry-out meal service, provide daycare and home and yard maintenance -- all without cash changing hands. State-of-the-art volunteer tracking software will be used to record and disseminate member production and consumption information -- to replace cash management of resources with each individual's self interest in maintaining and enhancing their tribal reputation. More information is at the website Quindaro Gardens. Feel free to contact Paul at grahovac8@gmail.com or 785-393-1816 cell.
