I belive. Not in god (caps or not), not in science, but in the obvious truth of the natural world. I have always, to my mind, believed; Daniel Quinn merely stated my own beliefs more eloquently than I could have.

I have great ambition. I have plans. But most of all, I believe, as do you. If you don't really think civilization's such a bad thing, you should ask yourself "Why are you here?"
