    Why are you here?

I don't believe in the righteousness of our civilization, and I want to be a part of changing it.

Any other personal information/resources/advice/ideas to share?

I'm preparing to serve six months in prison for civil disobedience to close the School of Americas/Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation. The school hasn't taken responsibility for the horrors committed in Latin America by its graduates (who are Latin American soldiers/police) and though it claims to be a new and different institution, it refuses to release the names of its most recent graduates. Regardless, it is an American tool used to maintain oppressive regimes in Latin America so that the U.S. can remain in control of those economies and foreign policies.

This is just a fragment of a larger picture of injustice and horror. It is one I have chosen to study and change, though at the same time I hope to create a new reality of peace and trust between human beings.
